Yes, the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31 shows that she was an incredible leader! And, she mastered the ultimate quest for what some call work-life balance and what I️ call work-life strategy. She embraced her authentic self and realized her full potential by first nurturing her relationship with the Heavenly Father. The scriptures are intentional about sharing her relationship with God. At His feet through prayer and in His presence is where she found everything she needed to be an adored wife, a blessed mother, a fashion expert and designer, a business woman, a master negotiator, philanthropist, and community servant.
Let’s look at her life as a modern-day woman:
1)She has incredible wisdom for business and the free enterprise system.
2)She has an entrepreneur mind-set and she is gifted with her own hands. She is well educated and experienced in business.
3) She is an investor. She buys real estate and has the knowledge to negotiate a fair market deal and the vision to plan and execute a business strategy using the land, the most popular commodity in the marketplace. Her strategic insight would ultimately bless her husband and her household.
4) She is a fashionista. She designs the finest apparel, the most desired fashions, timeless classics that speak volumes about a person’s status and worth. In fact, her husband is known in the gates because of his expensive looking garments and polished look.
5) She is physically fit and takes time to invest in her well-being. She works out on a regular basis to build her inner-core. She brings balance and stability into her life so she remains healthy and whole.
She understands that God calls us to stir up the gift inside of us. We are no good to God, ourselves or others when we are broken emotionally, mentally and physically.
6) She is an early riser. She is up before the sun most likely giving God her first fruits of praise and worship while preparing for her family’s daily needs and the needs of those she employs.
7) She is a night owl, burning the midnight oil and most likely giving God the glory for ordering her steps that day. For building a hedge of protection all around her, her family, and her finances. All while putting the finishing touches on the merchandise she will take to the market the next day.
8)She is a philanthropist. She is concerned about the needs of the members of her community. She takes time to tend to their needs and volunteers her time to make a difference.
9)Her children know they are from a blessed home.
10)Her children can’t help but to call her blessed and highly favored by the most high God.
